Janae Torrence joined Hair Shunnarah Trial Attorneys in 2023. She began her legal career as a judicial law clerk at the Louisiana Fourth Circuit Court of Appeal for Judge Paula A. Brown.

Janae received a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Loyola University New Orleans in 2018, and in 2021, she earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law.  While in law school, she interned with the ACLU of Louisiana and several judicial campaigns. 

When not advocating for her clients, Janae is an avid home cook and loves trying new restaurants.
