Scott Rogers

Of Counsel

Scott Rogers joined Alexander Shunnarah Personal Injury Attorneys, P.C., ready to fight on behalf of injured individuals after nearly a decade of litigating high-stakes business disputes and insurance cases. Scott is passionate about his clients and helping people recover for the injuries they have sustained. Before joining ASPIAPC, Scott was an insurance defense attorney for one of Texas’ premier law firms representing insurance carriers, and a business litigator for another well-respected law firm, where he often found himself on the defense side of the case. Nearly 10 years of varied litigation experience prepared Scott to follow his passion for justice by representing plaintiffs and injured individuals, alongside the ASPIAPC team. After learning from some of the best trial lawyers in Texas, Scott opened ASPIAPC’s Dallas office in 2020 as part of the firm’s continued expansion nationwide.

Scott has been recognized by his peers for excellence in the practice of law. For the last several years, Scott has been recognized by Texas Super Lawyers as a Rising Star—a designation reserved for less than 2.5% of young lawyers in Texas and published in Super Lawyers Magazine. In 2015, Scott was selected to participate in the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers’ annual Leadership Class.

A native of the Dallas area, Scott graduated cum laude from the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University in 2011, where he was a Citigroup Foundation Law Scholarship Recipient (formerly Dean’s Scholarship). During law school, Scott was a member of the SMU Law Review Association, which published his legal commentary critiquing an appellate court decision regarding the Federal Aviation Administration’s denial of relief to pilots under the Equal Access to Justice Act. He also was a member of the American Association for Justice Mock Trial Team, represented clients pro bono as a student attorney in SMU’s Civil Clinic, and studied international contract law at the University College of Oxford University.

Prior to attending law school, Scott earned a bachelor’s degree in Business from Southwestern University, where he was a member of the varsity baseball team and competed on the business ethics debate team. Scott attended Southwestern with a President’s Scholarship and earned a Phi Delta Theta Educational Foundation Scholarship during his time at SU. He also received several awards, including the communications department’s annual public speaking award and the director of athletics’ academic excellence award. Scott grew up in Flower Mound and is a graduate of Marcus High School. In addition to his passion for his law practice, Scott is an avid sports fan and enjoys traveling.
