T. Alex Hartford

T. Alex Hartford is an attorney with a strong foundation in political science and sociology from Louisiana State University (Class of 2020) and a J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law (Class of 2024). While at Loyola, Alex served on the Loyola Journal of Public Interest Law, where they were a board member and Online Editor. Their own article was selected for publication, reflecting both strong research skills and a passion for written advocacy. Originally from Florida, and having lived in more than a dozen cities worldwide, Alex brings a global perspective to the practice of law. Inspired by a lifelong fascination with how law shapes every aspect of daily life, Alex pursued a legal career to both protect individuals’ rights and give a voice to those who may not otherwise be heard. Passing the Louisiana Bar on the first attempt, Alex now channels that passion into helping homeowners and business owners navigate the often-overwhelming world of property casualty claims.

Prior to joining Insurance Claim HQ, Alex built broad and hands-on experience across multiple practice areas. While completing internships with Hatfield Law Office and The Khan Law Firm, Alex developed strong skills in research, writing, and client service. As an associate at The Khan Law Firm, Alex independently managed a caseload of more than 30 matters spanning property casualty, successions, and personal injury. From drafting and filing pleadings to conducting oral arguments, assisting in trials, and negotiating settlements, Alex handled the full scope of litigation tasks without support staff—gaining invaluable, real-world experience that now informs every client interaction.

Outside of the courtroom, Alex is a well-rounded professional with a wide range of interests. A lover of movies—especially Disney classics and horror favorites like Halloween, Scream, and The Conjuring—Alex also enjoys reading, fitness, and running. Music, theater, and theme parks are longtime passions, with Disney and roller coasters holding a special place. An avid writer and published law journal contributor, Alex combines creativity with discipline in both professional and personal pursuits. Whether singing along to favorite songs while driving, diving into history books, or connecting with friends, Alex brings enthusiasm and energy into every aspect of life.
