Attorney Naomi Jones joined Hair Shunnarah Trial Attorneys in 2024. She enjoys fighting for folks who have been dismissed or ignored by their own insurance company. Her primary practice is Property Casualty. She litigates cases against insurance companies that have not upheld their end of the bargain — so that people who paid for insurance, sometimes for years, can get back into their homes and businesses.
Prior to joining Hair Shunnarah Trial Attorneys, she was a prosecutor at the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office for more than a decade. Most of her career was spent prosecuting cases involving domestic abuse or serial sexual assaults solved by DNA. The bulk of her days were spent in a courtroom, arguing cases and presenting trials, but she also worked in the appellate division and homicide screening.
Naomi graduated from Tulane Law School with a Certificate in Maritime Law in 2009. Prior to that she worked as a special education teacher in the Bronx while earning a Masters in Science in Education at Mercy College through a New York City Teaching Fellowship. Her bachelor’s degree was obtained in 2002 from Columbia College at Columbia University in New York City in American Studies.
Naomi enjoys bike-packing, fly-fishing, and traveling. When it rains, she likes a good book and great coffee.
